Onboarding of the National Bank of Oman from Sultanate of Oman to AFAQ system

On Monday, December 1, 2025, the Oman National Bank was onboarded to “AFAQ” among the commercial banks operating in Sultanate of Oman.

It is worth mentioning that the banks that had previously joined “AFAQ” from Oman are the Central Bank of Oman, Bank Muscat, Bank Dhofar, Oman Arab Bank and Sohar International, in addition to the central and commercial banks from the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, bringing the total number of participating banks in the system to 69 banks.
