GPC launches new AFAQ features to enhance payment transparency and tracking

The Gulf Payments Company (GPC) has launched two new features in the AFAQ system: End-to-End Payment Tracking and Free-Text Messaging between participating banks.

These features mark an important step toward advancing payments through AFAQ, by enhancing operational visibility, enabling efficient tracking of payment status, and accelerating the handling of inquiries between participating banks.

The End-to-End Payment Tracking feature provides commercial banks with visibility into the different stages of payment during execution, including confirmation that the funds have been credited to the beneficiary’s account, while enabling inquiries to be addressed promptly.

The Free-Text Messaging feature offers a secure communication channel that enables participating banks to exchange messages directly through AFAQ, supporting faster coordination on payment-related inquiries and operational matters.
