Deputy Governor for Development and Technology at the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia

Mr. Ziad Alyousef is the Deputy Governor for Development and Technology at the Saudi Central Bank “SAMA”, He has over fifteen years’ experience in digital financial services. He was the Managing Director of Saudi Payments from 2018 to 2020. He previously served in various leadership roles in SAMA, where he was the General Manager of Payment Systems between 2017 and 2018, Director of Information Technology for Payment Systems between 2015 and 2017. Mr. Alyousef holds an MBA degree from Al Faisal University in addition to being alumni of the Leadership Program at Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
