Ahli Bank from Sultanate of Oman Onboarding to AFAQ system

On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, Ahli Bank was onboarded to the AFAQ system among the commercial banks operating in Sultanate of Oman.

It is worth mentioning that the banks that had previously joined the AFAQ system from Oman are the Central Bank of Oman, Bank Muscat, Bank Dhofar, Oman Arab Bank, Sohar International Bank and the National Bank of Oman.

In addition, central and commercial banks from the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait have previously joined the AFAQ system bringing the total number of participating banks in the system to 70.
