Onboarding of Six Commercial Banks from Kuwait to (AFAQ) System

On Monday, corresponding to January 2, 2023, six commercial banks from the State of Kuwait have successfully joined (AFAQ) system, which are Burgan Bank, Kuwait Finance House, National Bank of Kuwait, Industrial Bank of Kuwait, Commercial Bank of Kuwait, and Ahli United Bank.

The joining of commercial banks from Kuwait is a continuation of the first phase, in which both the Central Bank of Kuwait and Boubyan Bank joined on March 14, 202, bringing the total number of Gulf Central banks, commercial banks, and financial institutions participating in (AFAQ) from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the State of Kuwait reached 49 participants
